What Happens Next

Do you find Sunday’s a struggle cos you’re
already thinking about Monday?…

You try to enjoy the day but all the while
you have that little thought in the back of
your head that’s already thinking about
tomorrow…

Here’s how I deal with that dude…

Take a little bit of time for yourself…

And look BACK on the week that’s been (cos we
can’t predict what’s gonna happen tomorrow
dude… it doesn’t exist yet)…

I look at what’s happened that week (good and
bad) which determines how I’m gonna step up
up to the next week…

^^^ I actually do this every day (but doing
it on a Sunday just makes the week feel a LOT
more productive)…

Sometimes I feel like I haven’t achieved much
but when I actually sit down and reflect I
get a decent surprise…

Like this week dude…

I’ve been looking after myself cos I got a
big weekend planned and want to be ready for
it…

So I’ve been taking it easier than usual…

While making sure I STILL deliver some
shithot sessions for my guys…

Making sure they keep on progressing…

And when I think back to Tuesday I have the
perfect example of why this week has been a
massive revelation (see the video in the
p.s.)…

When I became a trainer I constantly
questioned whether I was good enough…

I could train myself and get results for me
but what about YOU dude?…

Would I be good enough to get YOU to lose
weight and get fitter, stronger and
healthier?…

So you can show up for your wife and kids and
be the strong dad who can handle anything…

Well I think I answered that over the last
few weeks (and months)…

And now that I know I can (cos that’s what I’ve
done for all the guys here)…

I want to do the same for YOU my friend…

So just have a think my man…

Lose weight (so you can stop making jokes
to hide the fact that you’re getting tired of
how you feel)…

Get strong (so you can become that dad that
all the other dad’s hate)…

Get fitter (so you don’t cough up a lung
trying to keep up with the kids in the
park)…

Become a badass (so that you’re a
badass)…

If so look at last week and see what you did
to make this happen…

Then look to next week and decide (RIGHT NOW)
what you’re gonna to to make sure this
happens…

Dont just SAY it…

And WHY you will do it…

Then fucking do it…

p.s. Here’s the video I mentioned…

This fella’s been making some exasperating
progress…

But that’s cos he shows up (and he gave me
some black pudding)…. yum yum…

Here's Russ again… He did a few of these last year without the weight… Then we stopped during winter cos the grass was wet which makes these a bit dangerous… During that time he's worked on movement quality and strength… We started these a couple of weeks ago with a 16kg… Because Russ had been working on movement he found this easy… So we gradually added the weight… Here he is doing a TGU with 28kg (nice one)… Move WELL first… Then you can stick.some weight on it… Adding weight to bad movement isn't a good idea… SO STOP IT… Learning to move well first leads to huge progress in the long run… Be patient… Learn more here vvvv www.bathkettlebellsociety.co.uk #strength #Mobility #movement #fitness #kettlebell #practice
