You ever get it sometimes…

When folk tell you something… that’s kind
of obvious…

Like in the O2 last week…

We’d been for a curry so my wife wanted a
bottle of water…

Mainly because the beer they serve in these
places is pretty dire…

Which meant I had to drink Guinness… after
a curry… phew…

And it was £4.55 a pint (in a plastic
glass)…

But I can’t complain…

Anyhoo…

When I asked the lass for the bottle of
water… here’s what she said…

” we have to take the top off “

So I asked her how I was supposed to drink it
without doing that…

I think she thought we wanted a take away…
from a gig… that had only just started…

Must happen I suppose…

Now I hear a lot of things like this as I
talk to folk…

I get asked questions all the time…

Usually looking for some sort of magic
pill…

“How can I lose 4 stone while drinking 8
pints a night”

Easy one for starters… “sod that… there
must be another way”…

Well…

There isn’t…

If you have a dreadful diet…

If you drink too much (which is relative but
you know if you do)…

If you’re not sure if this packet of crisps
is less fattening than the other one…

If EVERYTHING you eat is low fat (but you
still can’t shift the weight)…

Then there must be something wrong with YOU
right…

It must be your genes or summink…

Well – it probably isn’t…

I think you know what you need to do… you
just don’t do it…

Because you can tell yourself you’re too busy
at work…

You don’t have the energy…

How can you juggle a job and kids and get on
top of your health?…

You will come up with ANY excuse for why you
can’t make it… (I know cos I did this for
10 years)…

Well I see a bunch of guys every week…

Who all have similar issues… AND THEY STILL
MAKE IT…

And that’s because I make sure they turn
up…

They can’t just sack it off… they want to
be fitter & stronger…

They want to be able to play footie with the
kids (without passing out after 2 minutes)…

They don’t want to be a miserable git at the
weekends cos they’ve used ALL of their energy
for work…

They’re committed to getting the best out of
themselves as possible (with my help of
course)…

So if this sounds like you ^^^

Then you’re in the right place…

All that’s left to do is apply…

If you want to continue making excuses…

If you’re gonna blame your paternal grandma
cos she was a rather rotund lady (so you’ve
inherited that then)…

If you just want to prance about in a fitness
class and get zero meaningful results…

Then crack on my man…

We’re not for you…
