Stress

I used to have a stressful job…

I used to leave the house at 6.45 in the
morning…

Get home at 7.30 in the evening…

And get pissed every weekend to forget about
the week…

I was permanently knackered…

Reacted badly to most situations…

Flying off the handle at the smallest of
problems…

Which all stemmed from the culture I was in
for 15 years…

I had to manage situations that were
permanently out of my control and react
accordingly…

I couldn’t leave my desk without the worry
that I might have to race back to deal with
something…

^^^ It was like this EVERY day…

And it spilled over into my private life…

I got angry at people for no reason…

Just cos I was used to reacting rather than
being given time to think about a situation
and act rationally…

And it’s taken a long time to get beyond
that…

I used to try to force things to happen…

Like getting fitter and stronger…

I had limited time so would do as much as I
could with it…

^^^ Which got me even more knackered and
reactionary…

–> Fitness made things worse (bonkers right)…

But that’s cos I wasn’t in control…

I had no idea what I was doing…

Which is why I found a coach who could teach
me how to preserve my energy while getting
fitter and stronger…

And help YOU do the same without burning
yourself out…

Or having to go on a crash diet leaving you
feeling knackered and hungry…

It’s these extremes that stop you in your
tracks dude…

Going balls to the wall at work for a couple

Then when that nearly kills you…

You decide to get fit…

Hours of training (with time you don’t really
have)…

So you go in family time (it’s only for a few
months right)…

Then work gets busy again…

So you try to juggle both and burn out…

There’s no balance…

 

It’s one or the other…

But you can get fitter & stronger without
having to smash yourself to pieces…

And without ruining your weekends…

Which is EXACTLY what the guys on my program
