Why My Mum Is As Good As Your Trainer (if not better)

Yep it’s true…

Now Jean (my mum) is in her 70s…

She knows naff all about getting fit and
strong…

She’s got TWO metal hips…

And she doesn’t do a lot (even though we keep
telling her to)…

So in my opinion she’s the PERFECT trainer…

That is if you’re looking for a trainer to
count reps and shouts at you while you sweat
buckets until you throw up…

^^^ When I talk to some guys this is what
they think PTs are for by the way…

I hear a lot of people say they need that
person there to just push them that bit
further (which can be useful)…

But ANYONE can stand there (or sit in my
Mum’s case) and tell you to push through…

And the beauty is that she’s available 24-7
cos she’s retired…

So you can have the sessions at your
convenience (more on that in a bit by the
way)…

So there you have it — PERFECT…

Thing is though what happens if you actually
want to learn how to get stronger through
INTELLIGENT training…

Having someone there who knows how to put a
progressive program together so you don’t
smash yourself to pieces…

Seriously if your knees are playing you up
how are burpees and squat jumps gonna help
(especially when you have to do a million of
em when you’re already knackered)…

And there’s nowt worse than standing at the
back of a class full of people who look like
they know what they’re doing while you’re
seeing stars and feeling about 3 inches
tall…

This’ll only get you so far until you’re
either:

1) Broken and it’ll take years to put you
back together…

Or

2) So fkn sick of feeling sick that you just
give up…

— OR BOTH —

That’s where we come in dude…

See we know what we’re doing here…

We don’t preach to you about cutting out
EVERYTHING that’s bad in your diet and live
like a monk…

We don’t tell you that you need to beat
yourself into submission every session cos
you’re worthless if you don’t…

We certainly don’t let you hide at the back
(mainly cos there are only about 4 other
people at any session)…

^^^ Which gives you the chance to ask
questions and learn (which is what really
works)…

We start you off where you’re at RIGHT NOW
and make damn sure you see progress in EVERY
SESSION…

And speaking of sessions we run 12 per
week…

You get to choose ANY 3 to come to…

And they’re spread out across the day to make
it accessible (cos we know you’re busy)…

There’s this illusion in your mind right now
that this doesn’t sound like it will work…

There needs to be more flexibility right…

But if there were more times available would
that give YOU more time in your life…

Or would you just have to make up new excuses
for why you can’t make more sessions…

It’s easier to MAKE time than it is to FIND
time…

^^^ Just think about that one for a bit my
man…
