Got a text from Russ last week…

He’d hurt his hip playing footy and wasn’t
sure he could come to a sessions…

So I told him to come anyway and we’d see
what was up…

He turned up limping…

So we did a few stretches…

Got him moving around a bit…

And by the time he left he was feeling a damn
sight better…

Now in another world Russ wouldn’t have
bothered…

He would have stayed at home and rested…

Meaning not moving… which can sometimes be
counterproductive…

Considering most of us are tight from sitting
behind a desk all day…

Now Russ has a pub to run…

So he’s on his feet for 13 hours a day…

And the last thing he needs is a sore hip
holding him back…

So it’s a bloody good job he turned up
innit…

You see my man… we’re not JUST about
getting you stronger…

Although strength appears to be the cure for
most aches and pains…

Couple it with decent mobility and you’re
laughing…

And that’s why we focus on getting you moving
AND getting you strong…

Not trying to get you as ripped as possible
(cos that’s not the main aim of life)…
