Strength

Remember the Nokia brick phone…

We all had one…

They were rather chunky…

Not as chunky as the mid 80s Joey Boswell
type phone…

The ones you had to push around in a
wheelbarrow…

^^^ No need for weight training with those
around…

Anyhoo…

The Nokia brick was a bit cack to be
honest…

I dropped mine once and it smashed to
smithereens…

Whereas my current Samsung…

Which is as thin as a piece of bog roll…

Has been drop kicked a few times…

On concrete and tiles…

It’s had the odd beer splashed over it…

But it still battles on…

It looks flimsy but it’s able to keep
going…

Kinda like fells who learn to get strong
without needing to be ripped…

Fellas who know that BEING strong is better
than LOOKING like you are…

Don’t get me wrong…

There’s nowt wrong with being ripped…

But if your goal is to get stronger by
training like a body builder (which is pretty
much what most guys do… even thought they
don’t realise it)…

This is only gonna make you feel exhausted
while making your joints hurt…

– Elbows

– Knees

– Shoulders

– Hips

– Neck

– Ankles

Not to mention the pain on your lower back…

But that’s ok cos you’ll LOOK strong…

^^^ But only have the ability to make calls
and texts…

And when you get dropped it’ll take ages to
put you back together (and you can’t just go
out and replace your body)…

But what if you could be like the Samsung?…

So nobody sees you coming…

It’s much better to be able to do things that
surprise you…

^^^ Rather than feel let down when you
eventually do burn out and go back to the
beginning…

When your goal will be to get back to where
you were (only a little older)…

Tricky to do that when you go balls to the
wall…

But if you take an intelligent approach to
your strength and fitness…

—> Which is EXACTLY what we do here by the
way…

Then you make progress EVERY session without
having to puke in a bucket…

Or walk like John Wayne for a week…

Have a think about this my friend…

Cos time is ticking…

The older you get the harder it is to fix
you…

But it’s not too late…

So keep your eyes open on Friday when
