Lessons From A Big Fat Liar (true story)

My family were never the epitome of health…

My dad was on a CONSTANT diet…

When I say constant I mean he started every Monday…

And lasted about 3 hours before something would stress him out…

I think he sought out stress to give him an excuse to have a beer
in the evening…

And he drank Newcy Brown in the house…

Anyhoo…

My Aunt is no better…

She is a formidable woman… (meaning rather large)…

She wanted to lose some weight and asked my dad for help

^^^ I know right…

So he sat her down and they went through what she ate in a day…

– A slice of lightly buttered toast for breakfast

– A salad for lunch

– Fish for dinner (with plenty of veg)…

– And maybe a lettuce leaf around 3 in the afternoon when she was
peckish…

My old man made a note of all of this and then came out with two
possibilities…

Either my aunt is a medical phenomenon…

— OR —

SHE’S A LIAR…

^^^ True story… he actually said that to her…

So what about you my man?…

How come you can’t shift those pounds?…

Are you a medical phenomenon?… (I doubt it)…

I see it all the time… fellas who can’t explain why they can’t
lose weight…

How come you go to the gym for hours on end but it NEVER seems to
work?…

Maybe it’s because you’re lying to yourself…

You’re standing in your own way…

And guess what… your kids will see this happen and copy you…

I know I did… turned into a big drinker in my 20s…

Remember my dad sitting at home drinking EVERY night… (he
smoked a hell of a lot too)

^^^ and guess what… so did I…

Now I know you’re not daft my man…

You know what you want and you actually know what it takes to get
it…

— You want to lose a few pounds so you can feel good in your
own skin again…

— You want to set a good example for your kids as you know they
look up to you and will copy what you do…

— You want to be able to play footie with them in the park
without barfing up a lung…

— You want your wife to comment on how good you look (been a
while since that’s happened right)…

— You want more energy so that you can be present with your
family… rather than sedating with booze and food to make you
feel better

This is all very common my friend…

I used to do it myself…

Until I got bored of the same old feelings of lethargy and low
self esteem…

You know what to do about it but it’s hard right…

You haven’t got the time to look into this and get a hold of HOW
to get out of this rut…

—> Which is why I want to invite you to get in shape with the
