So there’s a pub landlord who comes along to
the sessions…

He’s a strong fella he is…

Wouldn’t you be if you be if you had to hoist
barrels around for a living?…

Anyhoo…

He’s obviously been rather busy over the last
few weeks…

So much so that he couldn’t come to the park
for a week…

He tried but it just wasn’t gonna happen…

And that’s fine… I get it…

SOMETMES work gets in the way…

But if you’re using work as an excuse NOT to
come along…

Then I challenge the fact that you’re
CONSTANTLY busy at work…

No one is… and if you are…

Then you need to manage your time better
quite frankly…

Now this fella…

He missed a week…

And decided that smashing 3 sessions in one
day would help him catch up…

He wanted to do a session in the park…

Then go to the gym later…

And finally… play football that evening…

Now how is this going to help?…

So you miss ONE week of exercise and all of a
sudden you’re going to be weaker… less
fit…

BACK TO SQUARE ONE…

Ludicrous…

Think about it…

A stressful week isn’t going to be unwound by
putting your body under more stress…

You ease back into it…

And carry on the progress… which won’t have
stopped cos you had a wobble… (which
ironically is exactly what we’re trying to
stop)… ha

So here’s the deal…

If you’ve had so much time off that you think
you need to smash yourself to get back on the
exercise waggon…

Then you won’t fit in…

You can go and join an ‘exercise class’
that’ll burn you out in a week…

And put you off exercise for another few
years…

Then you can give us a go… we’ll still be
around…
