Idiot’s Guide To Losing Weight

So you want to lose some weight…

Ok here’s what’ll work…

Do 300 burpees EVERY DAY for the rest of your
life…

You’ll lose weight but:

— you’ll be constantly knackered…

— Yes you’ll burn fat but you’ll burn a ton
of muscle too… (leaving you looking skinny)
>> trust me I did something similar and
looked like a lollipop… I mean my head was
massive compared to my body…

— you’ll NOT get any stronger

— you’ll get bored VERY quickly…

— you’ll probably do it wrong… (just cos
you can get on the floor and back up again
fast doesn’t mean it’s working for you)…

— you’ll drive to the gym to do it… (even
though you only need a solid surface… like
a floor… or the ground… which is
everywhere)…

— you’ll get even more bored… bored bored
bored….

So let’s talk about strength… (fitness
comes with it)…

You should be strong…

Strong for your family so you can take
whatever shit life throws at you…

I heard this yesterday…

‘Strong humans are more useful in general’

From my business coach…

And it makes sense…

The stronger you are the more you can
handle…

The less stressed you get about problems in
life… cos you can focus and overcome…

The less tired you are at work and especially
at home… you can be there for your kids
when they need you…

You can be strong for them so they learn how
to deal with life… cos they’ll need to at
some point…

Unless you actually want to wrap them in
cotton wool and send them off into the world
expecting handouts all the way…

 

Being stronger has health benefits too…

Increased bone density…

More lean muscle (which you will be losing at
the rate of 5% every 10 years at the
moment)…

It’ll force you to eat the right things…
your body will crave nutrition and a
McDonalds burger won’t cut it…

So here’s an idea…

>> Instead of doing stuff that takes hour and
gets you nowhere…

–> Build some strength and learn to focus…

This way you’ll get more of what YOU want…

Cos you’ll not be constantly battling
tiredness and lethargy…

And here’s another gem from my coach…

‘Stronger people are harder to kill’

^^^ sounds wanky but it’s true my man…

Think about it…

The stronger YOU are…

The stronger your immune system will be…

You’ll get ill less frequently…

You’ll have less chance of getting injured…

You’ll just be all round more useful…
