How you FEEL determines how you LOOK

Caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror the
other day…

A few years ago I would have been pretty
unhappy with what I saw…

See I got these little bits just around the
belt line…

If I pull my trousers up a bit they’re
hidden…

But with my trolls round my waist they stick
out a bit…

And they even jiggle when I brush my teeth…

Now I could get rid of these quite easily…

If I gave up drinking and eating dessert when
I go out…

If I religiously tracked my nutrition and
ONLY ate food that was good for me…

But that’s not me…

I would have less body fat…

But I would be unhappy…

Think carefully about this one my man…

Before you decide what you want out of all of
this…

Do you want to look like you’ve been
chiselled out of stone?…

Which takes a SERIOUS amount of effort and a
MASSIVE lifestyle change…

Or do you want to get fitter and stronger and
not have to document every single thing that
passes your lips…

Just in case it actually does stick to your
hips…

Right now you might THINK you want the
chiselled look…

That’s what I wanted too… and I got pretty
damn close…

Until I realised it just wasn’t for me…

It’s not that I don’t have the discipline…
(you still need that for strength
training)…

It’s that I didn’t have the desire…

I looked good (if that’s the kind of thing
you like)… but I felt like shit…

So I changed what I did…

And here’s the lesson…

IF YOU DON’T CHANGE WHAT YOU DO

—> THE RESULTS WILL STAY THE SAME…

And since I started strength training I FEEL
a damn sight better…

I actually think I LOOK better too… because
I feel better…

Here’s the thing my friend…

How you feel determines how you look…

You see fat people who are happy in their own
skin… therefore they look good… cos
they’re ok with it…

But what about fat people who don’t want to
be fat?…

Who want to lose weight but just can’t seem
to figure out how…

Who look at the ground when they walk cos
they don’t want to make eye contact with
anyone…

Who get undressed in the dark so their wife
doesn’t see what they look like…

Who wear clothes that are unflattering cos
they can’t seem to find stuff that fits….

Well… wanting to be ripped is a long way
off for these folk…

So why not start where you are right now…

Make a few small changes so you don’t get
overwhelmed…

Form new habits that are easy to follow…

And become part of your daily routine…

Then this whole thing becomes a lot less
daunting…
