Ultimate Home Training Survival Guide For Busy Dads

16 Highly Effective Resources To Keep Getting Results Until The Gym Re-Opens

The Current Situation & Uncertainty

When will your gym re-open?

The current government guidelines state that gyms will be closed until at least July. Even after that, it is uncertain what the situation will be or if you will indeed want to go back that soon even if your gym does adhere to the social distancing rules.

What can you do instead?

The ability to train from home means you will be able to keep social distancing without the uncertainty of queueing for a piece of equipment or even to get into your gym.

How do you train from home?

You can follow free workouts on social media but they won’t be around forever, they are also generic and will not necessarily get you the results you want.

How do you get results with home training?

The most optimal way I know of is to source a kettlebell and learn how to use it. A kettlebell is like an entire gym in one piece of equipment and I have been helping fellas in their 40s learn how to use them effectively for just over 6 years

Free Training Sessions Specifically For Fellas Over 40 Who Want To Get In Shape

Every weekday morning at 8:05 I run short sessions designed to help fellas in their 40s who want to lose a few pounds and get back in shape. We focus on ironing out all of those little niggles that have been annoying them for years. These sessions are recorded and available in the group when ever you need them (you don’t need any equipment but it will be more beneficial if you have a kettlebell) Here’s the link to the group:

De-Stress & Clear Your Head

Meditation is one of the best ways to reduce stress. Whilst I've personally spent time with monks to learn it, you don't need to do that. Headspace (a meditation app) has some free recordings you can simply listen to, unwind and relax.

Helpful Books On Getting Sh*t Done

I love all of these books as each chapter is a little nugget of wisdom to help you stop procrastinating. I read at least one chapter each day (they are VERY short) and when I’m finished… I start all over again. Grab them on Amazon for a few quid. You won't regret it.
