“Have You Lost Weight?”

^^^ This was the first thing someone said to
Russell when I posted a video of him
yesterday…

There’s a link to it in the p.s.

See Russ has lost a stone since the beginning
of November…

Now I can’t take any credit for this…

It’s all down to Russ…

Here’s the thing though…

In the video Russ is chucking round a 32kg
bell like it’s nothing…

Which he certainly couldn’t have done 6
months ago…

In fact when he started he got a sore back
using a 20kg bell…

So we worked on his mobility and the strength
came a long with it…

See if you focus on getting stronger by
lifting more weight then you’re gonna come a
cropper pretty quickly…

Which is really hard to get across to some
fellas…

Fellas who think they know it all…

Those who push through pain cos they think it
will disappear…

When it’s the pain that’s telling them to
slow down and address the problem…

Cos if you don’t it’ll only get worse…
trust me…

Which is why I spend most of my time getting
fellas like you to move well…

See in my experience this is what most of us
need…

And not to focus on getting bigger muscles
(that don’t work properly)…

If you sit at a desk all day…

Or are driving all over the country…

Then going down the gym and moving quickly…

Or hoisting weights in an attempt to get
stronger…

–> Without proper movement…

Is a sure fire way to make things worse (and
fast)…

Time to think about what you want out of all
of this dude…

Are you happy to keep plodding along and
getting nowhere?…

Until the pain is too much to bear so you
give up…

Or are you gonna focus on avoiding pain…

So you can become stronger than you ever
imagined…

Just like Russ did…
