Ever feel like you’re moving backwards
dude?…

Like you’ve been going balls to the wall but
everything feels the same…

You’ve left everything until the last minute
cos you’re just too damn tired and your ‘to
do’ list is never ending…

But you’re NOT stressed right…

Cos you’re a bloke and us blokes don’t do
stress…

Here’s the thing though…

When you get stressed and tired you go back
to your lowest level of training…

Just let that sink in for a second…

So when you’re tired at work you end up doing
the bare minimum to get you by (while
continually adding to your list)…

Which is fine…

Provided you’re not stressed all of the
time…

Problem is though stress breeds stress
right…

And it doesn’t get any better when you get
home and the kids are demanding your
attention (assuming you got home before they
went to bed)…

So you stay at this low level of activity
until you get a break from the daily grind so
you can recharge…

Which at the moment is miles away…

It’s all arse about face dude…

Work hard –> get stressed –> regress…

Here’s the thing though cheech…

If you protect your energy…

If you look after yourself first so you can
stoke that fire in your belly…

You can become more productive at work…

You get more done in less time (giving you
time to keep stoking)…

You spend more quality time with your family
and friends…

You operate from a position of power rather
than scarcity…

Your cup runneth over (couldn’t resist it)…

Protect your own energy first and you’ll
become that fella who can deal with his
shit…

The bloke who people gravitate towards
because you’ve taken ownership of your own
shortcomings and dealt with it…

You’ve stopped making excuses for being so
knackered all the time and actually done
something about it…

Your fire burns brighter every damn day…

Which is what we ALL want to do right?…

It’s just a pity so few fellas actually step
up and make a positive change…

Rather than just staying ‘comfortable’ in
their world of lethargy and disappointment…

^^^ Which is what I did for a very long
time…

I thought I was successful cos I was out of
the house for 12 hours a day…

Working my bollocks off making money (for
someone else)…

Dragging myself out of bed at 6 every
morning…

I was knackered…

But that’s ok cos I had a good job that paid
well so it all made up for it…

^^^ As long as I keep doing this for another
25 years…

It takes some balls to leave all of this
behind and actually build something
yourself…

Now I’m not suggesting you do this (if you
haven’t already)…

But what I do have is a group of fellas who
all ‘Get It’…

Cos they all felt the same…

So they all share your struggle and want to
help you get your fire back…
