Been a bit of a tumultuous week this has…

One of those weeks where I just wanna give
this all up…

Forget about trying to help people and burn
this to the ground…

I’m sure you get the same too my man…

You’ve tried it before right…

Started at the gym…

Decided you’re gonna clean up your diet…

Then something at work happens that’s a bit
shit…

So you have a beer to take the edge off…

—> AND THAT’S IT…

The whole fitness thing comes crashing down
cos you had ONE beer…

You had ONE bad day so you might as well just
give up cos this will NEVER work…

I get it…

^^^ Cos I’m EXACTLY like this…

I go through this EVERY WEEK my friend…

But I have ways of dealing with it to make
sure I keep on progressing… (I’ll tell you
about this in a minute)

I got another message yesterday…

From someone who clearly doesn’t get it…

‘I signed up cos I was interested in kettle
bell and didn’t expect to get bombarded with
trivia email’

Couple of things here…

This isn’t a nasty comment… but it does
make me questions whether I should be sending
you an email every day…

But this guy has missed the point…

I’m not trying to teach you everything I know
about kettlebell training or any other
training for that matter…

I’ve spent years learning this stuff…

Seeking out guys who’re way more
knowledgeable than me… so I can learn from
them and get better…

Learning from organisations like StrongFirst
and Strength Matters…

^^^ Most of the guys there have 40 odd years
of experience… they’ve been doing this stuff
since before we were born…

So I’m not really gonna get that across in a
few emails am I…

This guy couldn’t even be bothered to ask any
questions or fill in the application…

He just wanted to sit in the background and
get fitter and stronger by osmosis… (which
is tricky to do by the way)…

And I’m not prepared for folk to chuck heavy
weights around cos I told em too… that
would make me responsible for a lot of
injuries (which is exactly what I’m trying to
prevent here)…

Anyhoo…

Then I look back and see comments from guys
who’ve got so much out of this…

One guy lost 3/4 of a stone in a month…
just from getting ideas from these emails…

He didn’t even use a kettlebell – he just
read and understood…

Consistency & accountability are key…

DO WHAT YOU SAID YOU WOULD DO…

^^^ This way you get what you want…

It’s that simple…

So what happens when you have a bad day and
want to give up?…

What do you do?…

Well you just reframe the situation…

And make it good…

Like this guy… he’s actually saved me a
load of time…

^^^ cos he would never have been a good
fit…

And now he’s buggered off…

Which gives me more time to speak to you…
to HELP YOU…

I’m not letting him change what I do…
because I know this works…

As I said yesterday I’m shutting the 14 day
trial down for a bit…

So if you want be the guy who builds
unbeatable strength…

Without flailing about all over the place and
wrecking his back…

If you want to know how to get hold of your
nutrition so that you can lose the dad
podge…

Without fear of a little wobble here and
there (that means falling off the waggon by
the way… not the other wobble)…

If you want to PROVE you can do this… (to
yourself cos YOU are all that matters
here)…
