Was talking to my bro the other day…

My actual brother…

Not just some fella whom I call bro (I’m not
a douche)…

Anyhoo…

He’s been reading a book that was a bit of an
eye opener…

I’ll not go too much into it but basically it
outlines how processes and procedures save
lives…

It compares the aviation industry and the
health service…

^^^ Two organisations that kinda put safety
at the forefront of their concerns…

So let’s think a bit about aviation…

Pilots have checklists and procedures so they
know that the plane is safe to fly…

The cabin crew know all the safety procedures
and relay this information to the
passengers…

There are checks for everything…

Cos once this hunk of metal is in the air
there’s no going back…

Kinda important right?…

These procedures are constantly reviewed to
make sure they take everything into
account…

And if they don’t…

They’re updated…

So what’s this gotta do with you dude?…

Well imagine if you had the same sort of
thing to help you get hold of your fitness…

^^^ Cos after all if your body is on point
then you feel pretty damn alive and have the
energy to do whatever you want right…

But if it isn’t…

Then you’re destined for a crash landing…

And if that’s on water you’re fooked…

See we can all set goals…

But it’s not as simple as all that…

Which is why we keep on giving up on em…

You never complete anything cos you don’t
have a scooby what needs to be done…

You don’t track anything…

You just go with the flow and hope everything
turns out well…

Then settle for average when you decide
you’re comfortable where you are…

But what if there was a simple and effective
