More Bloody Student Accommodation

You read the Bath Chronicle ever?…

If not I’ll let you in on what it’s mostly
about…

Student accommodation (and that’s about
it)…

If you follow em on Farcebook you’ll see the
amount of comments where people are outraged
at yet another plot of land being given up
for students…

And I get that it does seem to be a bit
skewed…

Here’s the thing though…

I also follow the Newcastle Chronicle (being
a Northern Monkey)…

And guess what most of that’s aboot…

Got it in one my lad…

Student accommodation…

I’m pretty sure it’s a common ‘problem’ in
most cities with a high student population…

^^^ Which is most cities…

And yes there’s a point to all of this (isn’t
there always a point?)…

See most cities have the same problems with
infrastructure and lack of council money so
they have to close down or sell off buildings
and land to developers (which seems unfair
but the money has to come from somewhere)…

Same as most fellas have the same problems of
how to lose a few pounds and get fitter and
stronger without giving up their well earned
nights in the boozer and the odd take away…

We’re all the same…

Trust me on this dude…

I speak to a LOT of guys our age and we all
have this in common…

We’ve done our 20s where we could eat, drink,
smoke what we liked and burn the candle at
both ends…

We may have even carried that well into our
30s (I know I did)…

But at some point you realise that you’re not
invincible…

That your body does need to be looked after
otherwise it WILL give up on you (if it
hasn’t started to already)…

And there are no exceptions…

Ok fellas like Keith Richards and Shane
McGowan have managed to go on as long as they
have while living this way (to the max)…

—> But look at the state of em (and
they’re famous so they can get away with
it)…

But for us normal every day fellas it just
won’t wash (and I’m pretty sure Shane McGowan
doesn’t)…

Now there are 2 options here for you
cheech…

1) You can just ignore everything and hope
it’ll just go away (which it won’t) and limit
yourself to having to only walk short
distances and use lifts wherever possible
until such times as you can only just about
make it out of the house without wheezing…

– OR –

2) You can get off your arse and do something
about it NOW before it’s too late…
